We invite you to enjoy a back-to-nature experience at our peaceful paradise, a little more than an hour from Ottawa or Kingston on the shore of tranquil Patterson Lake. Where there is so much or so little to do, it is all up to you. You are invited to hike our expansive acreage or stroll through the nearby, Purdon Conservation Area. Paddle your canoe or kayak around the lake, challenge yourself with the excellent fishing, or just kick-back and relax.

Purdon's Cottages offers five rustic cottages on the shore of Patterson Lake, a natural spring feed lake measuring two and a half miles in length. The lake has several islands that are free to use for swimming or picnics. It has crystal clear water and is an excellent lake for canoeing, kayaking, fishing and swimming. We also invite you to explore our huge acreage and don't forget a visit to the Purdon Conservation Area, just down the road. Enjoy a stroll through the boardwalk bog, home to 16000 showy Lady Slipper Orchids. The best time to see the orchids in full bloom is late June through until early July.
