If you reserve a cottage and the situation with Covid-19 doesn't allow you to come we will issue a full refund, in this case we will also waive our 75 day notice policy, thus a short notice cancellation is not a problem due to Covid-19.
Our five, waterfront, rustic cottages offer a screened-in porch, a large kitchen and dining area, fridge, stove, toaster and coffee maker. Pots, pans, dishes and utensils are provided.
There is electricity but no indoor running water. Each cottage has its' own private outhouse close-by. A portable water tank is provided for water from the tap at front of Cabin 4.
Please bring your own bedding, pillows and towels. Wood burning stoves for heat as required (firewood is provided). There is a central Comfort Station with washroom facilities and warm showers. There is also a central firepit for all to enjoy.
COTTAGE 1 - Sleeps 4 - 2 Bedroom (2 double beds)
Easy access and closest to the docks and children's play structures.
COTTAGE 2 - Sleeps 4 - 2 Bedroom (1 double bed and set of bunk beds)
Cottage accessible by stairs from the central dock area. Exceptional view of the lake from this screened porch.
COTTAGE 3 - Sleeps 6 - 3 Bedroom (2 bedrooms w/ double beds + Loft - 2 single beds)
Easy access from the road, an incline hike from the central dock area. Closest to the Comfort Station.
COTTAGE 4 - Sleeps 6 - 3 Bedroom (2 bedrooms w/ double beds + Loft - 2 single beds)
Easy access from the road. Central to docks, Firepit, and the water-fill location.
COTTAGE 5 - Sleeps 4 - 2 Bedroom (2 double beds)
Easy access from road. Easy downhill walk to docks and Firepit area. This cottage also has the potential to become one large classroom.
Terms, Conditions and Booking Info
A $200 deposit is required when booking to secure your cottage or cottages. Full Payment is due on or before your arrival. Deposit can be done one of two ways, mail a cheque to Purdon's Cottages,(mailing address?) or an eTransfer to purdonscottages@gmail.com.
All bookings during peak season are a minimum of 1 week and run Saturday to Saturday. Weekends are available outside of peak season. Non-Peak Season is May 1st to June 21st and September 2nd until the season closes at the end of October, weather permitting.
Check -n time is 3 PM and check-out time is 10 AM.
Guests are expected to leave their cottage tidy when they depart or an additional cleaning fee of $200 will be charged.
All prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and subject to 13% HST.
Deposits will be returned if notice is given 75 days prior to arrival date. After which, deposits are non-refundable. There will be a $50 administration fee for a returned deposit.

PURDON'S COTTAGES RULES
Smoking cannabis is not permitted anywhere on our property.
No smoking in the cottages.
No smoking at or near the beach.
Fireworks, roman candles, BB guns, pellet guns, slingshots are NOT permitted on the property.
No excessive noise after 11pm.
PET POLICY
Dogs are welcome at Purdon's Cottages.
Dogs must be crated while left unattended, if you plan to be on the water for long periods of time and your dog has a tendency to bark, it is probably best to leave them at home.
Guests must pick up after their dogs
Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds.
Dogs must remain on a leash at all times.
No aggressive dog breeds, no pitbulls.
Dogs may swim in the boat launch area.
Any cost incurred by Purdon's Cottages due to damage from your pet will be your responsibility.
